Amazing Long-distance Views, Alpine Pastures and Cosy Chalets

This tour in a nutshell

If you want to enjoy long-distance views, immerse in the Bavarian Alps and their pastures and enjoy some authentic food in traditional chalets WITHOUT the work, this tour is for you! We zoom up the mountain in a modern cable car and a five minute walk takes us to the summit and beyond. The walking time can by adjusted based on your requirements (max. 1.5 hours) and there are various places that invite us for lunch: An old wooden chalet where they still produce their own cheese and schnaps? A more modern chalet with a mouthwatering menu? A hut famous for its Kaiserschmarrn (a pancake-style dish)? It is your call! You want to eat your way through the mountain? Let's plan various stops!

On our way back to Munich, we can stop at the old town of Bad Tölz on the banks of the river Isar (that flows onwards to Munich). The town boasts colourful houses and Lüftlmalerei – a trompe-l'oeil facade decoration that the region is famous for. Again, it's your call!
