Eco-friendly tours / Transport

This also allows us to skip the Munich rush hour and it only takes us between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours to reach our destination. With beautiful views, most train rides are a treat in themselves. And of course, we will take the time to get to know each other and make sure that you learn a lot about Munich, Bavaria and the Alps.

We normally meet up between 8.30 am and 9 am and return between 5 pm and 6 pm. Please check the meeting time indicated for your tour when you make your booking. Also make sure to check your e-mails the night before your tour (after 7 pm). If we have to alter tours due to the weather conditions, this might also affect the meeting times.

The Alps are strongly affected by climate change: melting glaciers, droughts, forest decline – to name but a few effects. So in order to protect what we love, we try to reduce the immediate impacts by relying on public transport for our tours and travelling by train from Munich central station.

Please go to the arrival hall of Munich central station to where the train tracks are (if you arrive by U- or S-Bahn, please follow the signs for "DB"). Between track 23 and a food stall named "Rubenbauer", you will find a couple of ticket vending machines. This is our meeting point (GPS coordinates: 48.140763, 11.558991, see photo below). If you have trouble finding the place, call +49 160 92320043, so we can give you directions. Please arrive a few minutes in advance, as the train won't wait for us.
