Eco-friendly tours / Transport

This also allows us to skip the Munich rush hour and it only takes us between 1h and 1h45 to reach our destination. With beautiful views, most train rides are a treat in themselves. And of course, we'll take the time to get to know each other and make sure that you'll learn a lot about Munich, Bavaria and the Alps.

We normally meet up between 8.15 and 10 am and return between 5 pm and 6 pm. Please check the meeting time indicated for your tour when you make your booking. Also make sure to check your e-mails the night before your tour (after 7 pm). If we have to alter tours due to the weather conditions, this might also affect the meeting times.

Meeting Point

Please go to the arrival hall of Munich central station (Hauptbahnhof München) to where the train tracks are (if you arrive by U- or S-Bahn, please follow the signs for "DB", "Fernverkehr" or with the black train icon). Our meeting point is at the entrance to track 23 in the main hall (GPS coordinates: 48.140763, 11.558991, see photo below). If you have trouble finding the place please call +49 160 92320043 so we can give you directions.

The Alps are strongly affected by climate change: melting glaciers, droughts, forest decline – to name but a few effects. So in order to protect what we love, we try to reduce the immediate impacts by relying on public transport for most of our tours and travelling by train from Munich central station.
