Hiking and Alpine Coaster
A Fun Tour For All Generations
This tour in a nutshell
This private guided day trip to the region of Bad Tölz has something in store for all ages. A chairlift takes us up to a scenic summit where you can take a little walk, a hike of up to 2.5 hours or anything in between – it is up to you! The views are breath-taking and on a good day, you will not only see various mountain ranges but will also get a glimpse of Munich in the distance. Your guide will tell you all about the cultural landscapes, the maypoles (there is even one on the mountain) and the alpine culture.
A cosy mountain hut between the neighbouring peaks invites us for a drink or some cake before we rush down the mountain on our fun toboggan ride. Those who are in for more adrenaline can check out the alpine coaster afterwards.
On our way home, we'll visit the historic old town of Bad Tölz whose houses are covered with "Lüftlmalerei". The region is particularly famous for these fresco paintings with their trompe-l’œil-effect.
