The Great Traverse

This tour in a nutshell

​

This relatively long guided hike takes us from Lake Schliersee to Lake Tegernsee – via a range of the Mangfall Mountains. We start our hike at the shores of Lake Schliersee, nestled between the nearby mountains, before hiking into a valley and eventually up the slopes. From the summit with its classic cross you get to enjoy amazing long-distance views before we head to lunch at a traditional wooden chalet. The whole set-up here evokes the olden times. Our trail then continues toward Tegernsee with some excellent lake and mountain views along the way.
