Snowy Hiking Dreams and Christmas Market Visit
This tour in a nutshell
Our guided Garmisch Winter Delights tour takes us to the village of Untergrainau where we start our wonderful winter hike. Marvel at the turquoise river Loisach before heading up to a mellow panoramic path. Enjoy the dramatic backdrop of the snow-covered Wetterstein range and Zugspitze and indulge in a hearty lunch at a traditional Bavarian inn after about an hour of hiking.
From here we will carry on for a bird's-eye view of Garmisch before heading down to explore the old town with its famous painted buildings and the local Christmas Market. Here, we'll stroll past the decorated stalls, enjoy traditional sweets and mulled wine and soak up the festive spirit before heading back to the big city lights.
An ideal hiking day trip if you want to experience Garmisch in a nutshell! And absolutely perfect for Christmas Market fans.

Booking
Please note that the return time may vary according to the amount of time we spend hiking as well as the public transport from and to Munich. Please let us know if you have any time restrictions.
Due to the weather conditions, we may have to opt for a different hiking destination at short notice. Kindly check your e-mail the night before your tour. If you haven't heard from us after 7 pm, the tour goes ahead as planned. Otherwise, we will send you all the details regarding the new plan. All our tours are equally beautiful, so don't worry – you will enjoy the alternative tour just as much!
