Leisure Tour

This tour in a nutshell

This tour has something in store for the whole family (and all fun-lovers, really). From Schliersee, we'll take a cable car to a local chalet above the lake. On the way up and from the chalet you'll get great glimpses of the surrounding peaks of the alpine foothills and of the lake nestled between the mountains. And you'll learn about the Alps, their ecosystems and history.

The chalet won't only treat us to a hearty lunch but offers plenty of fun options for all ages. How about crazy golf, a dip in a swimming pool overlooking the area or an adventurous playground for the kids? The specialty of the place: A fun toboggan run that will take us down the mountain. And we can always come back up for more rides. Or not. In fact, you can also take the cable car back down if you prefer it a bit calmer – no pressure.

 

Back down, we'll explore lovely lake Schliersee's shore on a short stroll. Weather permitting, we can take a dip here before heading to Munich – our head buzzing from all the fun.

• "No hike" – can also be arranged as a mid-level hike

• Walking distance: 1.5 km (return)

• Walking time: around 30 minutes

• Elevation gain: 50 m

• Meet-up at Munich central station: 10.50 am

• Train ride: approx. 1 h one way

• Total duration: approx. 6 h (depending on activities / transport)
