My name is Stefanie Praml, born and raised in Munich – what the locals call a "Münchner Kindl”. I have been out and about in the Bavarian Alps since I was a kid and started Munich Wanderland in 2019 out of my love for the Alps and because I have a travel bug myself.
As a trained hiking guide, I know many paths off the beaten track (which are feasible even for people without previous experience) and have wrapped them into beautiful day trips from Munich for all levels. On our tours, you’ll experience the Bavarian Alps like a local would: on a relaxed hiking tour with great views, in good company and with authentic food. And with an MA in Language, Cultural and Business Studies, I am naturally very interested in the culture of the Alps and the special features of the region. So, I have accumulated all kinds of useful and useless knowledge that we pass on on our tours.

We love our guests and are here to make your trip as easy and amazing as possible! But we are a small team and are often out and about in the mountains, so we might take a bit of time to get back to you. It shouldn't take more than 24 hours, though!
